MSAE's Mission
The Maryland Society of Association Executives is a creative and effective
community of committed and respected professionals leading associations into the
future.
It shall:

provide a network for members for personal and business interaction;

communicate information on association issues;

provide an avenue of personal growth;

foster professionalism;

promote a favorable legislative and regulatory environment for associations;

promote a positive public image of associations.
Who are MSAE Members?
MSAE
members include professionals representing trade organizations, professional
societies, association management companies, chambers of commerce, charitable
organizations and foundations. They include chief staff executives, senior
staff, department heads and staff specialists interested in professional
development and networking.
MSAE also offers supplier membership for providers of products and services
looking to build relationships with association professionals. Supplier members
range from hotels, to printers, to technology service providers

Membership Dues
MSAE
offers two levels of membership for both association executives and suppliers.
Individual membership entitles one person from the organization to membership
benefits. Corporate membership entitles multiple people from the same
organization to membership benefits.

Individual - $120 Corporate (up to 5 people) - $360
Supplier
Individual - $160 Corporate (up to 3 people) - $288
Frequently Asked Questions About MSAE
When are your meetings?
MSAE's program year is from September to May. Events most often
take the form of an educational seminar or networking breakfast. In addition,
our Annual Conference and Expo show is held in the Spring.
How do I know when the events are scheduled?
Our website -
www.mdsae.org -- is the best place to find information
regarding our educational programs and events. You may register on-line. In addition,
our newsletter, the Executive Branch, is sent monthly to members. Registration
information is generally available two months prior to the event.
Do I have to be a member to attend programs?
No, you do not have to be a member to attend but there is usually
a slightly higher registration fee for non-members.
What ways are supplier members able to market their
services?
One of the best ways for supplier members to market their services
is to participate in our online buyers guide.
In addition, MSAE encourages all supplier members to participate
in our Annual Conference & Expo.

Volunteer Opportunities
In order to get the most out of
MSAE,
you need to get involved. Join a committee, volunteer for a special event, become
a member of the board of directors. You will do worthwhile work while having fun.
